Open Question: How to register to vote in a different state? Please help!?

I have recently moved from the state of virginia to north carolina about 2 weeks ago. I still have my Virginia state ID and do not have any proof that I currently reside in North Carolina, I do not have transportation to get back to Virginia to vote so what do I do? Is there anyway that I can still vote for the presidential candidate in the state of North Carolina or do I have to go back to Virginia to get my vote in? Please help!
